Some 34 persons have reportedly been killed in Thailand. Multiple Thai media reports monitored by www.africanentertainment.com suggest that the killing took place at a nursery facility in north-eastern Thailand. According to reports, over 0 children are among the dead. The victims are said to be as young as two years old.
A man allegedly armed with a gun and a knife is reported to have visited the childcare facility in Nong Bua Lamphu province, carrying out the mass killings. Reports from the media and Thai police indicate that the gunman killed him after the shooting. The gunman has since been identified as former police officer Panya Khamrab. Reports say Khamrab was sacked from the police force in 2021 over drugs offences.
