World of Football Reacts To Aguero’s Retirement

The world of football was shocked to hear of the retirement of Sergio Kun Aguero, one of the best strikers in modern football.

The Argentine forward scored over 400 career goals for clubs and country but ended his career today after doctors diagnosed him of a Heart condition.

Reacting to his retirement, football stars and clubs across the globe have paid their tributes to Aguero.

Lionel Messi took to his Facebook page to wish his long time friend the best for the future. He said: “Now a new phase of your life begins and I am convinced that you will live it with a smile and with the illusion you put into everything.”

Kevin De Byrune described Aguero as one of the best ever. He said “one of the best strikers ever. Want to wish all the best for the future legend. See you soon.”

Manchester City legend Brian Kidd said “Aguero’s up there with the best.”

He added that “What he did is phenomenal, and he’s such a modest, humble person.”

Real Madrid CF referred to Aguero as a great player. The club said “it was an honour to compete against a player like you, one of the best players in the world. Best of luck to you and your family.”
