Two of Afrobeats’ most decorated, talented and celebrated singers Wizkid and Burna Boy have announced a joint album titled AFROKINGS, along with a world tour.
The Grammy-winning superstars are set to bring their signature sounds together in what promises to be a historic collaboration, celebrating African music on a global scale.

Upon the revelation, fans have since gone into a frenzy of excitement, Wizkid, known for hits like Essence, and Burna Boy, the mastermind behind Last Last, have already proven their chemistry on songs like Ginger and B.D’OR. Now, they are taking it a step further with an entire project that blends Wizkid’s smooth melodies with Burna Boy’s powerful energy.
The album details remain under wraps, but we can trust the body of work to deliver a mix of Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, alongside influential global collaborations. Our guess as African Entertainment, are that among the featured acts on there could be Stonebwoy, Davido, Tems, Oxlade and even Drake. Whether our guesses come to fruition or not, one thig is for sure, basing on the global acclaim of both of these super stars, AFROKINGS will dominate the charts and reaffirm Afrobeats’ place on the world stage.
Their tour will kick off in Lagos before heading to major cities across Africa, Europe, and North America. Both artists are known for selling out arenas, so, this promises to be one of the biggest Afrobeats tours ever. Tickets go on sale next month, and the album drops this summer.
