The United States (US) has placed a temporary travel ban on Brazil.
This is because coronavirus cases in Brazil have risen sharply over the last few days.
The travel restrictions come as the world’s confirmed cases of coronavirus hit 5,410,439.
Globally, 345,105 people have lost their lives due to the virus, with affected countries remaining 188.
The travel ban is for any person who over the last 14 days has been to Brazil.

On Sunday, May 24, Brazil recorded 15,813 new cases of coronavirus — increasing its total to at least 362,000. At least 22,000 people have died in Brazil.
