University of Ghana risks disconnection over Ghc 33 million electricity debt

 

The University of Ghana (UG) risks being disconnected from the national grid over a whopping Ghc 33 million electricity debt.

African Entertainment understands that the premier University has failed to settle its indebtedness to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

UG and 28 other institutions have been listed by the ECG as owing heavy debts.

ECG is taking steps to clean its debt data and to as well recover for its monies.

The institutions listed include the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, UNDP, Ghana Airport Company, and EOCO.
