Known for celebrating exceptional artistry and offering fans a chance to vote for their favorites, the iHeartRadio Music Awards are gearing up for another exciting edition.

Scheduled for 17^th March, 2205 , the awards promise dazzling performances and thrilling surprises this year. What makes this year’s even more exciting is that African music has been well represented; for Nigerian stars Burna Boy and Tems plu South Africa’s rising sensation Tyla all have nominations to their name in the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2025. They have been nominated in the category; Best World Artist.

Having had a stellar musical year, Tyla  is ahead of her African musical counterparts with a total four nominations. She is in the running for World Artist of the Year, and her hit single, “Water,” is nominated for R&B Song of the Year. Additionally, her collaboration with Marshmello, “Water X,” is up for Dance Song of the Year. The “Jump” hit maker has also been nominated in the Best New Artist (R&B) category, showcasing her versatility.

The nominations also feature a diverse range of artists in other major categories. The Song of the Year lineup includes hits like “Agora Hills” by Doja Cat, “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone, and “Greedy” by Tate McRae. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter are among the heavyweights competing for Pop Artist of the Year.

This year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards will be taking place at the Dolby Theatre in California. As anticipation about who will take the most awards at the close of the night, here’s a full list of nominees in the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards:
