The Rwandan government has launched the use of robots to prevent transmission of Covid-19 between medics and patients.
This move is in a bid to limit contact between health workers and patients so as to reduce the risk of the virus’ spread.
The high-tech robots can perform a number of tasks related to COVID-19 management, including mass temperature screening, delivering food and medication to patients, capturing data, detecting people who are not wearing masks, among others.
Rwandan government also made it known that they would continue to seek better ways to protect its citizens from the novel Coronavirus.
Rwanda is one of the African countries with the lowest recorded cases with 308 confirmed cases, 208 recoveries and no recorded death.
