The Royal Family, Britain, has thanked volunteers supporting vulnerable members of the society in UK in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet on Friday, April 17, The Royal Family say “thank you to every single volunteer who is continuing to support their communities and the NHS, whether that be through the #NHSVolunteerResponders, preparing and donating items for care and food packages, or supporting vulnerable members of the community.”
Coronavirus death toll in UK now is estimated at 14,576.
According to the UK Department of Health and Social Care, as of 9am on April 17, some 108,692 persons have been infected with the virus.
The deaths were recorded as of 5pm on April 16, the department said in a tweet.
It says some 438,991 tests have concluded, with 21,328 tests on April 16.
In all the UK recorded 847 new deaths over a period of 24 hours.
