Rihanna Rallies Voters For Change Of Power In US

Rihanna seems to have officially began her campaign for a change of political leadership in the US come November 2020.

She is therefore rallying voters in that direction, apparently looking forward to a change of power from the President Donald Trump-led Republican Government to a new Democrat-led regime.

Trump is expected to wrestle power with presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in November this year.

But Rihanna, a citizen of Barbados, who seems to have a strong affection for the Democrats, is calling on protesters in the US to use the power of their thumbs to effect the change they want.

There have been protests across the US over the murder of an unarmed Blackman George Floyd by a former white police officer Derek Michael Chauvin on May 25, 2020.

Over 4,000 people have been arrested, with curfews imposed in about 40 cities. There have been wantom destruction of properties, with comments from President Trump appearing to anger protesters – prodominately blacks or persons of African descent – the most.

And Rihanna believes the change they want could actually come through the ballot box.

“Vote. Ya ain’t got shit else to do man! Get yo ass off the couch and go vote!!!,”she tweeted as well as wrote on her Facebook.

“I don’t wanna hear another excuse!! Stop believing that your vote and voice don’t matter! This the illest way to protest…vote for the change you want!!!,” she says.

She specifically called out people in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Indiana, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Iowa, Montana, to step out and register to vote in the coming November 2020 US Presidential elections.

Rihanna holds an official political title from her home country of Barbados. However, in the states, she’s shown support for former President Barack Obama.
