A recent report by The Debut Hub, a Nigerian music chart platform, has revealed that Rema is the most streamed Nigerian artist on YouTube for the first quarter of 2025. The “Raver” singer amassed an impressive 223 million streams, driven primarily by his hit single “Is It Crime,” which garnered 14 million streams alone.

Rema’s success comes amid fierce competition from other top Nigerian artists. Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy secured second place with 171 million streams, while Ayra Starr claimed third place with 169 million streams. Music giants Davido and Wizkid rounded out the top five with 113 million and 102 million streams, respectively.
