Mavin Records signee, Rema, has become the latest Nigerian with the most music video views on YouTube within 24 hours.
Afrobeats star, Davido previously held the record but following the release of his ‘Calm Down’ remix with US singer, Selena Gomez, Rema took the title from Davido.
Rema released the ‘Calm Down’ remix on September 7, 2022. The video garnered precisely 3.333,043 million views in the first 24 hours of its release. The music video that had held the record of the most viewed in 24 hours had previously been Davido’s record-smashing Fem, which gathered 3 million views on youtube in the first 24 hours.
