Mavin Records signee, Rema has outperformed his fellow Nigerian afrobeats superstars, Wizkid and Burna Boy, Tems among others, to set a new record for himself.
The ‘Calm Down‘ hitmaker has become the most listened to African musician on streaming platform, Spotify for the month of September 2022.
According to Spotify’s latest data sighted by www.africanentertainment.com, Rema had a whopping 18.9 million monthly listeners for the month of September.

The record comes on the back of Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ remix which featured American songstress Selena Gomez.
Next to Rema on the most listened to list is Burna Boy who had 18.8 million monthly listeners.
