Fast-rising Nigerian Afro-R&B singer Qing Madi has kicked off 2025 with exciting news for her fans.
Taking it to Instagram, the “See Finish” singer announced that her new single, Akanchawa, will be released this Friday, January 10.
Just days after Akanchawa drops, Qing Madi’s debut album, I Am the Blueprint, is set to follow by arriving on January 31.
As a follow up to her self titled EP and its deluxe, I Am the Blueprint the first album of her career is expected to showcase her growth as an artist, combining vibrant beats, soulful melodies, and deeply personal storytelling. Fans are already speculating about what themes and collaborations might feature on the project.
Qing Madi earlier this week made waves with a performance on a COLORS Show as we reported here.
Fans have flooded social media with support, calling this “Qing’s Season” and expressing high hopes for what she has in store. With Akanchawa and her debut album on the way, Qing Madi is poised to make 2025 a remarkable year for herself and Nigerian music.
Qing additionally set the tone for her album by unveiling its album artwork yesterday. Now, all that’s left is the body of work’s track list.
