French soccer giant, PSG, are reportedly set to offer Brazilian star, Neymar, a deal worth £44 million per year to stay in their fold.
This comes as Neymar faces a £26 million pay cut if he wants to return to his former club, Barcelona.
PSG are desperate to keep prized asset Neymar away from Barcelona return, reports Daily Mail.
PSG broke world record transfer fee for the Brazil star in 2017, with the hope improving their capacity to win the UEFA Champions League.
The Brazilian was accordingly expected to move to Barcelona in 2019.
But Mundo Deportivo reports that
PSG are prepared to offer the 28-year-old a pay rise from his current £600,000-a-week deal and an extension of his contract in a bid to keep him at the Parc des Princes.
They are ready to take his salary up to £44m per season, which includes a £12m sponsorship deal with the National Bank of Qatar, report say.
In contrast, Barcelona can only offer their former star man a deal at £18m per season.
