The Premier League made this known in its Facebook post on Monday, September 12, 2022.
In the post sighted by www.africanentertainment.com, The Premier League says “Premier League fixtures will resume this weekend after a pause to the season as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”
Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-serving monarch in the history of Britain, whose reign spanned 70 years, died on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
