The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the sudden and tragic death of veteran director Rotimi Raji, popularly known as Genius. Reports indicate that Raji was found lifeless in his bathroom on February 15, just a day after Valentine’s Day.
According to eyewitnesses, Raji lived alone in Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos, and was found slumped and unresponsive in his bathroom. A concerned neighbor, who had noticed his unusual silence, repeatedly called out to him and eventually peered through an open window to find his motionless body on the bathroom floor.
