Idris Ebiloma has been sentenced to 14 years in jail for raping a 4-year-old in 2016.

The sex offender was convicted of a two-count charge on May 13 by an Abuja court. He will reportedly serve 14 years concurrently.

The shocking story of four-year-old Khloe sparked nationwide outrage after Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic shared her story on Instagram back in 2019.

According to Dominic’s Instagram post, Ebiloma who was 28 at the time and an employee of his victim’s parents raped the Khloe vaginally and anally in her home in Asokoro, Abuja.

The incident happened on August 31, 2016, and until 2019, the victim’s mother sought justice to no avail. The police tried to force her to drop all charges against Ebiloma and even failed to tender all the evidence in court.

Since Ebiloma had been incarcerated since the assault, the Apo High court ruled that four years will be deducted to account for the time he spent awaiting trial.
