Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey who is well known as Hilda Bacci, has broken and set a new cooking marathon record this morning, 15th of May.
Hilda Baci surpassed the previous Guinness world record of 87 hours for the longest time spent cooking.
At the time of filing this report, Hilda has been cooking for more than 87 hours and in just a few hours, she would set a new record, 96 hours.
In the meantime, a Twitter user have questioned why Hilda hasn’t been announced as the new titleholder on the Guinness Book of World Records social media handles.

The official Twitter handle of Guinness Book of world records, has responded that they are aware of Hilda’s amazing attempt, but they are reviewing the evidence first.
Many notable Nigerian celebrities including president Buhari has praised Hilda’s efforts on setting a new world record.
