Nigerian singer, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, known as Bella Shmurda, has told Twitter CEO Elon Musk to honour and acknowledge him for being the first person to upload extended video on the microblogging site.
Bella stated that he ought to get royalties, should in case Twitter decides to charge for video uploads.
Bella claimed to be the first person to post a whole music video on Twitter a while back.
The singer made the statement after Elon Musk announced that people with Twitter’s Blue Tick now have the capability of uploading videos that are two hours long.
Elon Musk wrote:
“Twitter Blue Verified subscribers can now upload 2 hour videos (8GB)!”

Shmurda responded that if twitter wanted to launch a reward program, people like him should be rewarded because it costs money and takes a lot of work to produce and market a music video.
He wrote:
“I was the first to upload a full musical video Incase you decide to monetize and start paying royalties!! videos costs sweat, blood and lot of $$$.. you can choose to start rewarding creatives”·
