This decision came after Cabinet approved on 2nd November, 2022 the continuation of the exercise after it was briefly halted following attempt to register pupils who were about to take the WASCE and BECE examinations last year.

The exercise will be done in schools and will cover all pupils in the country including those in examination classes of National Primary School Examination (NPSE), Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) respectively.

According to the NCRA Director General, Mohamed B. Massaquoi, the exercise will be conducted by regions and in all schools across the 16 Administrative Districts including Bonthe Island.

He further assured the general public, parents, guardians and school authorities that the NCRA is committed to leaving no pupil behind in the conduct of the exercise.
