Ghanaian Rapper, Sarkodie is to face Nigerian Rapper, M.I Abaga in a rap battle for $200,000.
The winner takes all challenge has been said to be a healthy battle as none of the artistes are in any form of disagreement.
This battle was set up during an Instagram live video between Sarkodie and Nigerian artist manager, Ubi Franklin when they discussed matters concerning their careers and other issue.
During their chat, Ubi Franlin, also the founder of Made Men Music Group, asked Sarkodie if he would engage in a $200,000 rap battle with Nigeria’s M.I.
Without hesitation, Sarkodie accepted the challenge.
After hearing about the battle, M.I joined the conversation and agreed to the rap battle.
Though the world awaits to witness this iconic rappers battle it out, a date is yet to be fixed for the contest between a Nigerian and a Ghanaian rapper.
Recently, Sarkodie released a freestyle titled ‘Sub Zero’ which some Ghanaian musicians labelled as a diss track against Shatta Wale and Asem.
