Menaye Donkor, current National Director of Miss Universe Ghana
Former Miss Universe Ghana and now Miss Universe Ghana 2017 National Director, Menaye Donkor has postponed the launch of the 2017 pageant which was scheduled for today, June 1, to mourn the loss of her father-in-law who was the father of former Ghana Black Stars player, Sulley Muntari.
The deceased, Alhaji Muniru Muntari (aka Coach) was battling an unconfirmed illness for some time until he passed on at the 37 Military Hospital, i Accra, Ghana on Monday afternoon after he was rushed there on Sunday evening following excessive pain.
“Sorry to inform you that due to the death of my father in law, the Press Launch event scheduled for June 1st has been postponed to the 8th of June. I am deeply sorry for any inconveniences. Thank you for your continuous support. I still look forward to seeing you.”Menaye posted this on her social media page to the public.
