Meet Juliet Ibrahim, The Ghanaian Actress of Liberian-Lebanese Descent

 

Juliet Ibrahim, born on March 3, 1986, is a Liberian-Lebanese descent, Ghanaian actress, film producer, and philanthropist.

Ms. Ibrahim made her  acting debut in the 2005 film Crime to Christ starring Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel.

She landed her first role in Nollywood  in the movie ‘Yankee Boys’ (2008) and has since featured in over 50 films including 4 Play, In The Eyes of My Husband, 30 Days in Atlanta (2014), London Fever (2017), Shattered Romance (2014), Dead End (2008), Restore My Love (2009), Naked Weapon (2009).

Family and early life

In 2019,  Ms. Ibrahim  launched her book titled ”A Toast To Life”. The beautiful movie star shared her journey through life and how her family survived back-to-back wars across Liberia, Lebanon, and Côte d’Ivoire, in “A Toast To Life.”

Ms. Ibrahim was born in Accra, the capital of Ghana, to Hussein Ibrahim, a Lebanese, and Sarah Elizabeth Ibrahim, a Liberia.

Her siblings are: Nadia Eman Ibrahim, Nabil Ibrahim, and Sonia Ibrahim.

Education

Ms. Ibrahim had her early education in Lebanon. She later went to Ivory Coast along with her parents and had her secondary education there.

In Ghana, she schooled at the Ghana Institute of Journalism where she studied Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations. She also schooled at the Ghana Institute of Languages, learning Spanish, French and English.

She has been associated with a number of charity projects including her recent endorsement of Nigerian billionaire, Ned Nwoko’s Malaria Eradication Project.

Relationship

Ms. Ibrahim had a romantic relationship with Ghanaian entrepreneur, Kwadwo Safo Jnr. between 2010 and 2014 and they have a child named Jayden Safo.

Awards

Juliet Ibrahim has received numerous awards both locally and internationally which includes Maya Awards 2016, Honorary for Philanthropic works, 2010, Achievement Award – City People Magazine, 2010, Ghana Movie Personality of the Year – City People Magazine, 2010, Best Lead Actress in a movie – Ghana Movie Awards, 2014: Best Ghanaian Actress – City People Entertainment, 2016: Actress of the year – Starz awards.

A-listers Magazine once referred to Juliet Ibrahim as the “Most Beautiful West African Woman”.
