Mbappe and Klopp
French international and Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, has paid glowing tributes to Liverpool once again amid rumors that the English Club wants to transfer him.
Mbappe labelled Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool side as “a machine” who make “winning look easy”.
Liverpool were perfectly on course to win their first Premier League title
in 30 years.
But the coronavirus outbreak caused the suspension of the Premier League, ‘delaying’ their title win.
The club has won 27 of the 29 matches, having been defeated only once in the 2019/2020 season.
The 27 wins have produced some 82 points for Liverpool, with the club needing just two more wins – if the season restarts – to confirm themselves as champions. Liverpool also won the UEFA Champions in 2019.
And its brilliant performances and results have deeply amazed Mbappe.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Sport, the 21-year-old, who boasts 117 goals and 66 assists in 181 games at club level for PSG and Monaco, says “This season Liverpool have been a machine in the Premier League.”
“They have made winning look easy – but the truth is that is never easy,” he stated.
Mbappe will be out of contract at the Parc des Princes in 2022 and has yet to sign an extension.
“To be as ruthless as they have been would come from having a very good manager and lots of hard work in training,” he said.
“Performances like they have been having don’t just happen.”
