Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson is the latest addition to Ghanaian celebrities who are serving as Commonwealth Goodwill Ambassadors.
The actress yesterday May 1 received an invitation from the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS).
She joins the likes of Becca, Jackie Appiah, Kidi, and Kwesi Arthur who are goodwill ambassadors for the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition.
The invitation letter was signed by the Africa Head of the RCS Office, John Apea, stating that the society had noticed the love the actress has had for the African Continent.
The letter indicated the RCS wanted the actress to be part of its new chapter of it’s Covid-19 campaign.
Lydia Forson took to her Twitter page, sharing an email of the invitation with her followers.
She wrote; “I’m proud to announce that I’ve officially been invited to be a Commonwealth Goodwill Ambassador. @commonwealthsec
