Lil Win Defends His New Music

Lil Win

“I have heard people saying I have stolen a song but the reality is I am creative being. Creativity is the spice of life and that is what I did with the ‘Ladder’ song. The women produced that song some years ago and this is the time God has brought it to the limelight and I also did my thing with it to make it new”. Lil Win has come out to shun all those cajoling public sympathy that he stole their song.

With distinct bragging rights up his sleeves, the actor who adds comedy to his already talent says that his management would not stay eyes opened and see him violate the copyright rules just because he wants to create a name for himself. He pointed out that he has carved a niche for himself, thus, anything he touches turns to gold –perhaps that’s why those who first heard the song sang by the Nigerian composer, feel that he ‘stole’ it.

“Lyrics wise, composition wise, the two songs are different from each other, so where from the comparison (or theft)?” An enthusiast quizzed.
