Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata, has picked yet again another historic award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA22).
During the awards ceremony held on Friday night, June 25, 2021 at the Accra International Conference Centre, Kofi Kinaata, won the Song Writer of The Year.
That made him the highest winner of the Song Writer of the Year category since the inception of the VGMA in 2001.
The Things Fall Apart was beamed with smiles as he received his coveted award ahead of Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Adina and Episode.
In 2016, Kinaata first won the Song Writer of the Year category.
He went on to win it in 2017, 2018, and 2021.
Winners from other categories for this year’s VGMA are expected to be announced on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
