Police in Tanzania have freed Nigerian musician, Kizz Daniel.
Daniel, the ‘Buga’ had been arrested over his alleged refusal to perform at a concert in Tanzania.
But the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission later released an official statement confirming his release by the Tanzanian police.
According to the commission, even though Kizz Daniel had been released his lawyers would still have to visit the Tanzanian police pending ongoing investigations.
The statement read:
UPDATE: Kizz Daniel @KizzDaniel has been released. His legal team will however report back to the police tomorrow while he will subsequently return to Nigeria.
