Ghanaian Gospel artiste, Sonnie Badu, has sent a strong-worded message to wife of Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, asking to keep quiet over matters concerning coronavirus in Africa.
He made the statement on his Instagram page after the co-chair for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation indicated of how horrible the impact of Coronavirus pandemic would be in Africa as a result of lack of access to water and the huge number of slums settlers who would not be able to practice social distancing.
She also stated that Africa would experience same fate as Ecuador, where bodies were left lying on the streets.
“It’s going to be horrible in the developing world, parts of the reason you’re seeing the case numbers is because they don’t have access to that many taps. Look at Ecuador, look at what is going on in Ecuador, they are putting bodies out on the streets. You are going to see that in countries in Africa,” co-chair for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation said in an interview with American news channel CNN.
In reaction, Sonnie Badu expressed disagreement with her utterances and asked her not to overstep her boundaries.
“You are not God … You are only human, Just like us. Do not over step your boundaries, don’t worry your time will be up soon … Africa will surprise the world, that is why for the first time we are ahead of you all … Madam, keep quite … my name is BADU”, he said.
