Kanye West has taken to social media to ask former President Donald Trump to grant a pardon to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently incarcerated in New York. Diddy is awaiting a federal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering, and is also facing over 30 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and misconduct.

West made the plea on his X page, writing “@realDonaldTrump, please free my brother Puff.” The move has sparked a heated debate, with many questioning West’s decision to support Diddy given the seriousness of the allegations against him.

Diddy has maintained his innocence, pleading not guilty to all charges. However, his requests for bail have been denied twice. Recently, he was hospitalized in Brooklyn for a knee injury but was returned to his cell after receiving treatment. His trial is set to commence later this year.
