Good-old-days – Shatta Wale (left) Sarkodie
Controversial Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, seems to be up for another ‘game’ again.
Recently, Shatta took to Twitter to condemn Ghanaian celebrated rapper, Sarkodie, for accordingly condemning fellow Ghanaian artists in his freestyle song titled ‘Sub Zero’.
Shatta had condemned Sarkodie for the ‘diss’ song, saying it was not right for Sarkodie to be dissing his fellow musicians at a time Ghanaians are worried about their lives due to coronavirus.
Few hours after slamming Sarkodie, rapper Asem came out with his version of a ‘diss song’ targeting Sarkodie, saying the ‘what time it is’, rapper fraudulently won the BET awards.
Just when Asem and Sarkodie appeared to have listened to industry players to put a stop to dissing each because of the current situation Ghana finds itself in, Shatta Wale who had earlier condemned Sarkodie for dissing fellow artists in the midst of coronavirus, came back on Twitter subtly jabbing Asem and Sarkodie for putting an end to their beef, apparently referring to them as “beefing cows.”
Interestingly, Shatta has come out again on Sarkodie, but this time he appears to be ‘smoking a peace pipe.’
In a tweet on Wednesday April 22, Shatta queried those who think he was beefing with Sarkodie.
“Whoever thinks am beefing sark is just a chef who is lacking chicken in his kitchen ?????,” he tweeted.
His tweet comes few days after Sarkodie says he has no problem whatsoever reuniting with him but that their reunion can only happen under one condition.
Sarkodie had stated in an interview that he will not agree to reunite with Shatta Wale just for the sake of the cameras but for real and off the cameras.
It is unclear if Shatta by his tweet is seeking to end the rivalry with his one-time friend.
