I’m Bored – Wizkid Cries Out
Nigerian afrobeats and dancehall artist, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known in showbiz as Wizkid, has voiced out how boring life has become in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
With travel bans and lockdowns around the world aimed at preventing the further spread of coronavirus, movements for top celebrities like Wizkid who are used to touring the globe regularly for musical concerts, has largely been restricted.
Millions of music lovers and concert goers around the world are in doors due to restrictions on public gatherings in countries like Ghana.
Staying at home and not engaging with fans on the music stage or traveling to shoot new music videos, is certainly not the kind of life Wizkid is used to.
And as such we can simply understand why the ‘Joro’ and ‘Ghetto Love’ singer is frustrated.
In an emotional tweet, Wizkid contemplated on dropping a video perhaps as part of efforts to fight boredom.
And he is being encouraged by his fans to either drop a new song or videos to some of his current songs.
“This might be a great time to drop jam video baba or soundman Vol. 2. Anyone baba,” one fan replied to his tweet.
