Ghanaian actress, movie producer, and entrepreneur Yvonne Nelson has expressed regret over her decision to use some Ghanaian movie editors for her recent production titled ‘The Men We Love’.
Yvonne revealed that this year is her tenth year as a movie producer, she decided to use solely Ghanaians for her new movie.
However, the Ghanaian editors she employed to work in the movie acted very unprofessional and did not care about her production. They really frustrated her life during the movie production.
In an interview with Angel FM’s drivetime host Okyeame Quophi she stated that even though she had paid these editors in full before giving them the job, they cared little about the timelines she had to meet.
The YN Movie Productions owner said that she really regretted that she didn’t go in for a Nigeria editor because they are always very disciplined and they make sure that within ten days, you have your movie.
“The Men We Love” movie is set for a premiere on Valentine’s Day, February 14 2022 at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra Mall at 7 pm.
The movie explores different themes including love and betrayal. It stars a great cast of Majid Michel, Yvonne Nelson, Kofi Adjorlolo, Michy Diamond, Regina Van-Helvert, Angela Bamford, Sophia Kalorizos, Comedian Hogan, and Jackeline Mensah.
The rest include James Gardiner, Nana Ansomah, Solomon Fixon Owoo, and a host of others.
It has been over a decade since the beautiful actress has gone behind the cameras to start producing movies.
