“I Love Me Some Tyla”: Normani Gives Rising Star Her Flowers, Teases Future Collaboration

Normani sparked excitement among her fans, affectionately known as #NormaniNation, on during an interview with Rolling Stone on Monday (December 9) this week.

While revealing plans for a 2025 tour in support of her debut solo album Dopamine and teasing its follow-up, she dropped another bombshell: her admiration for South African sensation Tyla.

“I love me some Tyla,” Normani gushed, calling the breakout artist a “superstar” whose talent is undeniable. “I can clock a star when I see one. She just does it for me.” Tyla’s self-titled album, which dominated charts in 2024, made such an impression that Normani named it one of her favorite projects of the year.

It also came as no shock when the “Jump” hit maker made it to Normani’s Spotify Wrapped of 2024.

Fans were even more thrilled when the former Fifth Harmony member hinted at a potential collaboration with the Water hitmaker.

“I have to do something with her for sure, hopefully in the near future,” Normani teased. “Maybe we’ll make it happen in the new year. That would be really fun.”
