Hollywood actor, Idris Elba covers the August edition of Essence magazine and asides his steamy ‘shirtless’ photoshoot, the Sierra Leone/ British actor opens up on some hard truths about his screen life and personal life.
When asked if he would remarry after two failed marriages, the 44 year old actor shared “Yeah. I don’t think so. Marriage is an institution of sorts and I have done it. It’s not for everyone, It’s not!”.
Idris was married to makeup artist Hanne Norgaard from 1999 to 2003. The two have a 15-year-old daughter, Isan. He then married Sonya Nicole Hamlin in 2006, a union which lasted only six weeks! Asides his daughter, Isan, the renowned actor also has a 2 year old son ;Winston with his ex-girlfriend Naiyana Garth.
His kids, he admits, help him feel young.
