Following his uncle’s triumph at the supreme court as the newly appointed governor of Osun state, well-known Nigerian singer “Davido” couldn’t hold back the exhilaration.
Davido went ahead and shared a short message on his Twitter writing: “We go dey shock dem like high tension” immediately after the judgment at the court yesterday Tuesday 9th May, 2023.

Ademola Adeleke of the PDP was re-elected as governor of Osun state on July 16, 2022, following a hotly contested race against the outgoing governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC.
Recall that the Oshogbo election tribunal had previously decided in favor of Oyetola dismissing PDP Adeleke, who had only been in office for a short time. In its majority decision on January 27, 2023, the tribunal, presided over by Justice Tertse Kume, proclaimed Oyetola the winner of the election and revoked Adeleke’s victory.
The “Champion Sound” crooner has been in a celebratory mood of late, as his “Timeless” album continues to shatter records. And now celebrating the victory of his uncle after the supreme court of justice ruling.
