Harmonize ‘
Tanzanian singer,
Rajab Abdul, popularly known as Harmonize, has reacted to accusations levelled against him to the effect that he made false promises to several institutions.
He was among other things, accused of making promises to different schools and hospitals during a recent tour of his hometown of Mtwara, without any intention to fulfill those promises.
He was accused by Social Media users of lying. That was after he accordingly went “silent” on his promises.
But he has therefore responded to the claims through his manager, Beauty Mmaryy aka Mjerumani.
Beauty has dismissed the claims levelled against her artiste, according to reports monitored in Tanzanian media.
She is reported to have said that they had a work emergency soon after pledging hence, left Harmonize’s donations for government officials to distribute.
She is quoted as saying
“We had an emergency and later, people assumed we hadn’t handed out the donations because we didn’t share photos of the exercise.”
“The people complaining are on the internet yet they know nothing of the initiative. Those on the ground are not complaining.”
