Ghanaian actress, Nikoletta Samonas, popularly known as Nikki Samonas, certainly can’t wait to visit the beach after the coronavirus pandemic.
Nikki, an apparently beach lover, has been speaking on social media about how she hopes to go to the beach once again.
Beaches in Ghana have been closed down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Some parts of Ghana, including the capital city, Accra, where the actress and freelance model lives, are under a two-week lockdown due to the coronavirus.
The development seems to be depriving her of one the things she seemingly love doing most – going to the beach.
She posted on Twitter and Instagram, saying “I miss the beach.”
The beautiful actress shared a photos of herself in mind-blowing sexy-looking bikinis at the beach, perhaps in Accra, sometime back.
A significant number of Ghanaian celebrities have been locked down due to the virus.
Ghana has recorded some 313 confirmed cases of the virus with six deaths and three recoveries.
As a way of keeping themselves busy or fight boredom, a number of celebrities have been engaging their fans on Twitter and Instagram, with some sharing cash and scratch cards.
Nikki says the pandemic which has led to the lockdown has ‘rendered’ her more active on Twitter than she has ever been, saying emphatically that “Never been this active on twitter my entire life. Na so corona dey. Eii, I dey do bonito under my car. Corona has become the ruler in our country.”
Nikki, born September 5, 1985 (aged 34) has featured in a number of Ghanaian movies including Potato Potahto.
