A Liberian who was protesting in the US over the murder of an unarmed Blackman George Floyd, has spoken out about the whites have for generations sought to oppress, and maltreat Black people.
Speaking in an interview with CNN on the sidelines of the violent and bloody protest, recounted the days of slavery, the repatriation of former slaves to Liberia and the hundreds of years of brutalities against persons of African descent.
George Floyd was killed by a former white police officer, Derek Michael Chauvin, in Minneapolis on Monday, May 25, 2020.
Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes 46 seconds, leading to his death.
His murder has spiked arguably the worst demonstrations by blacks in the US, with businesses being looted, shops and Police Stations set on fire.
