George Floyd: President Trump Reacts to Protesters, Threatens to Invade Minneapolis with the Military

US President Trump has released his very first tweets regarding the brutal murder of George Floyd.

Reacting to the current violent protests in Minneapolis, the Potus shared two tweets on Friday, May 29 calling out Mayor Jacob Frey for being a ‘weak radical’ who is unable to ‘bring the city under control’.  Trump also threatened to involve the country’s national guard should Jacob fail to end the current unrest.

In a second and even more outrageous tweet, Trump referred to protesters as ‘Thugs’. He shared: “….These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”

Twitter has since labelled the second tweet a violation of its community rules.
