What could have ended up a first attempt disaster for Mabala Noise, a South African music label organising the Vodacom Durban July Launch 2017 which is scheduled to hold on the 30th of June was averted with the announcement of Moroccan American hip-hop artist, French Montana as one of the performers as Tory Lanez pulled out of the event.
Mabala Noise had promised fans a hell of a party only to be hit by United States hip hop sensation, Tory Lanez’ pull out just over a week to the launch. Even though many consider him a replacement for Tony,Mabala Noise spokesperson said French was already part of the line up and was meant to be a surprise act to give fans the time of their lives.
French Montana will be joining Robin Thick alongside other South African local acts to deliver the off the da hook experience promised to fans. The French Montana announcement came right on time as many fans who had no plans of attending the event have now indicated interest. Now, that’s what we call blessing in disguise. All road leads to Durban come 30th July.
