Following the completion of the laying of artificial turf, installation of bucket seats and massive rehabilitation work at the SKD Sports Complex, a special football game is being arranged to kick open the stadium this Friday.
The exciting Football show piece will happen Friday morning between the Cabinet football team and the current Liberia Lone Star CHAN squad.
Former World Best, Europe Best, Africa Best, and Liberia Best, President George Weah will lead the Cabinet team against the selected players for Liberia CHAN fixture against Senegal next weekend.
The game will serve as a test for the Liberia Home based squad preparing for the game against Senegal.
President George Weah says he will use the game to inspire and admonish the young players to work to their bed in making Liberia proud especially with the country’s first home game at the SKD in more than two years.
