Ex-Roma academy player dies from heart attack

Joseph Bouasse

An ex-academy player of Italian side, Roma, Joseph Bouasse, has died from heart attack, according to reports.

The youngster had succeeded as a refugee in Italy.

The Cameroonian reportedly died last night at age 21.

He joined Roma academy following a successful trial in 2016.

The deceased never played for Roma’s first-team.

However, he trained alongside the likes
the likes of Daniele De Rossi and Francesco Totti in Rome.

Bouasse made his
professional debut for Serie B side Vicenza while on loan from Roma in 2017.

Before his death, he was with Universitatea Cluj in Romania, having signed for them in February.

Bouasse arrived in Italy at the age of 16 alongside other child refugees from Cameroon, seeking a new life in Europe, according to reports.
