Ex-President Kufuor Urges Women To Enter Leadership Race

Former Ghanaian President, John Agyekum Kufuor has challenged women in his country and indeed across Africa to enter into leadership contests.

According to him, having “more women in leadership contribute to development”.

He made the call when the Ghans Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Angela Lusigi called on him on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

In challenging African women to contest for leadership roles, Mr Kufuor said “If the cat wants to eat fish, it must get its paws wet. Women must enter the race.”
