Former France International footballer, Patrice Evra, has paid a courtesy call on the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.
Evra was seen in the company of renowned Ghanaian journalist and General Manager of GHONE television, Nana Aba Anamoah, as he met Mr. Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House, the seat of Government in Accra, Ghana.
African Entertainment saw pictures of their meeting shared by President Akufo-Addo on his official Facebook page.
Evra is promoting his new book titled: ‘I Love This Game’ around the world.
Ghana happens to be the latest country he has visited as part of efforts to promote the book. He arrived in Ghana on Monday, September 11, 2022.
African Entertainment is informed that Evra is scheduled to visit Dakar, his hometown in Senegal, next before traveling to Cote d’Ivoire and Nigeria as part of his book promotion tour.
As professional footballer, Evra captained Manchester United and the French national team.
He played also for Italian giants, Juventus. He was originally a forward but played primarily as a lef-back.
