A popular content creator, Egungun of Lagos, has sparked a heated debate about the role of formal education in achieving success. In a recent conversation with Daddy Freeze, Egungun shared his thoughts on the matter, citing his own experiences and those of his employees.
Egungun emphasized that education alone is not a guarantee of success. He pointed to his own employees as examples, including his chef, personal assistants, and videographer, all of whom possess university degrees but work for him.
As Egungun noted, “School does not guarantee the success of man.” He highlighted the case of his chef, Tayo, who holds two degrees in biology and nutrition and graduated with a second-class upper degree. Despite his impressive educational background, Tayo works as Egungun’s chef.
Egungun’s comments have sparked a lively debate about the value of formal education in achieving success. While some argue that education provides essential skills and knowledge, others contend that it is not the only path to success.
