VRMG boss, Edem, has threaded on dangerous ground with his most recent rant, suggesting that all Ghanaian musicians are hungry
The rapper who is known for ranting about the state of the entertainment industry in Ghana, has ot received positive vibes from his recent submission.
The ‘Toto’ hitmaker in a tweet said that every artiste in Ghana is hungry, and the coronavirus pandemic has made the situation worse, but his counterparts are not wiling to admit.
Social media users have reprimanded the artistes for generalizing his comment.
Meanwhile, fellow rapper DBlack waded in to the conversation saying that some musicians like himself have made smart investments hence, are not hungry.
Replying Edem’s tweet, the Black Avenue Musik boss said “Not all… Some have made some smart investments bro. I haven’t had to depend on music only for over 4 years now bro.. It’s important for artists to use this situation as a reminder for the need to invest in your brand outside of art of music. It’s essential. Love g.”
