Chris Brown billed to headline Afro Nation 2025 with the  biggest names in Afrobeats and Amapiano

Chris Brown has officially been confirmed as a headliner for the 2025 Afro Nation Festival in Portugal, joining a stellar lineup of leading Afrobeats and R&B artists. This highly anticipated event, recognized as the world’s largest Afrobeats festival, will take place from June 26th to 28th, 2025, at Praia da Rocha, Portimão, Portugal.

Chris Brown’s inclusion underscores his ongoing connection to African music and culture. It also adds to his already good musical year, that’s featured a Grammy win, and multiple charting singles. The multi faceted and talented R&B artist has previously collaborated with prominent Afrobeats figures like Davido and Wizkid.

He will share the stage with a formidable array of talent, including global sensation and Grammy award-winner Burna Boy, known for hits such as “Last Last” and “Ye.” Davido, a pivotal figure in Afrobeats, will deliver high-energy performances of chart-topping tracks like “Unavailable” and “Fall.” Tems, the Nigerian singer-songwriter celebrated for her soulful vocals and collaborations with artists like Drake and Future, is also slated to perform. R&B icon Mary J. Blige and French rap legend Booba, known for his unique fusion of hip-hop and African influences, complete the headlining acts. Joining these headliners, the festival will also feature a diverse range of artists including the critically acclaimed global singer and songwriter Amaarae, the South African Amapiano DJ and producer DBN Gogo, the French-Congolese rapper Franglish, the Congolese singer and dancer Innoss’B, the popular Amapiano duo Scorpion Kings comprised of DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, and the highly popular Amapiano DJ Uncle Waffles, alongside many other talented performers.

Afro Nation Portugal has established itself as a premier summer festival, attracting music enthusiasts from across the globe. The festival’s vibrant beachside setting provides the backdrop for a unique cultural experience, blending Afrobeats, R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, and Amapiano.
