China has suspended the importation of meat products from four of Australia’s largest meat processes.
Chinese media reports that the decision was taken after Chinese authorities found that multiple batches of Australian beef products exported to China by few Australian companies violated the inspection and quarantine requirements.
China’s Foreign Ministry is believed to have made the announcement on Tuesday, May 12.
