Cardi B Thrown Microphone Up For Auction On eBay For More Than $85,000

The microphone that Cardi B hurled at a fan during an altercation in Las Vegas is now up for auction on eBay.

At the time of the incident, the Bronx-born musician was performing on stage at Drai’s Nightclub. She reportedly asked to be sprayed with water because of the extreme heat in Vegas. One spectator, nevertheless, appeared to take things too far by throwing a whole cup of drink and ice in the direction of the celebrity. Cardi responded by hurling her microphone into the audience.

The now-famous microphone, which had a $1,000 initial value, belonged to a business in Vegas that provides audio equipment to nearby clubs. The device’s owner, Scott Fisher, confirmed the report by saying that the white “MAIN” tape at the base made it simple to identify the object after the occurrence. The microphone survived being thrown and could still be used by the auction’s winner for their own purposes.

“This is the mic that has been seen flying into the crowd across the nation after Cardi was splashed with some liquid,” stated the listing. I tested the microphone when it returned to the audio business this afternoon, July 31, and it is still functional. A receiver, which is not included in the sale, would still be required if you ever intended to use it. I’ll also enclose a letter confirming that this is the genuine microphone seen in all of the films being broadcast across the country.

It continued, “I was encouraged to sell the mic but decided I would try to do something good. [One hundred percent] of the profit from the sale of this mic will be evenly split among two charities. The first charity is a local Las Vegas charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas.”

The highest bid currently stands at an astounding $85,000 after 61 participants. At the time of the auction, bids began at $500; however, as the news spread, its interest obviously skyrocketed. Meanwhile, the victim of the microphone’s alleged impact pursued legal action against Cardi earlier this week. According to TMZ, the rapper is now involved in a pending battery case.

On Friday, July 28, Cardi and her husband Offset released their newest song, “JEALOUSY.” The song, which included a sample of Three 6 Mafia’s “Jealous A** B**ch,” was intended as a rebuttal to their critics.
